A Dumbell Workout For The Upper Body

Yesterday I visited Sonya's house (my new trainer and friend) and we decided to do something dorky and do a personal training session in her garage…well more like a buddy session. Sonya has embarked on a 90 day challenge to get really fit and step up her fitness so I decided to go along for the ride and do one of the DVD's upper body.

Sonya advised me to bring a set of 5 kilos dumbells and I was a little apprehensive at first thinking, thats a bit light! But brought them anyways not knowing what to expect.

She started the DVD and we began our hour long strength training session which consisted of all upper body movements, namely shoulders, biceps and triceps. What a killer! The number of reps meant the weight was just about right, any heavier and I would have failed! By the end I was shattered, great workout and really good for us wanting to really tone the shoulders and arms.
