Woken up and can’t move your head ever?

So woke up yesterday and low and behold…couldn't move my neck left, right, forward or backward, up and down, the list goes on. I had officially seized up, something I had only heard about before, not actually experienced. So lay down for a few hours as this was the only position I could be in that felt remotely comfortable, had to cancel my beloved clients (although I did get the lovely juliana to fill in for me 🙂 ) and chucked on 'Sex and the City' ready for a day of bliss. However of course reality does kick in and so does the reality of owning a business and before long I started looking at my inbox and realised there is no rest for the wicked so managed to get myself out of bed and made a trip down to the chiropractor to see what all this was about. Saw Brendan from 'Manly Chiropractic Services' who informed me it wasn't the way I slept like I had assumed. (you know the whole, i must have slept weird on my pillow) but it was the increasing stress levels in my life! What?! How could that happen? Well apparently it can and does with many people who are under high pressure, working long hours etc. Its kind of your bodies way of saying slow down, take some time. So he gave it a massage, talked a little chiro jargon about it and then told me to take it easy for the next couple of days, hence what I did (yes Sex and the city time!). So moral of the story guys – you may not think your stressed at the time, but belie ve me – your body knows and it will let you know in some shape or form eventually. Make sure you really employ work/life balance and try not to sweat the small stuff! I am about to buy the book "Don't sweat the small stuff – let you know how it goes.

Would love to see anyones comments on if they have had a similar experience…
