Chocolate Mousse

My Mum makes a delicious chocolate mousse, basically folding melted Green & Blacks chocolate into fluffy egg whites with a little coffee; I’ve been loving it for years. However, my superfood, sugar free and egg free chocolate mousse is now rivalling my old favourite. Another bonus of this recipe is it is not only antioxidant rich (cacao being the highest source of anti-oxs) it is also full of magnesium. I estimate a portion of this will give about 150mg of magnesium which is a decent dose!

  • 1 tbls of chocolate powder (Choose Loving Earth Cocoa Powder)
  • 6tbl of chia seeds soaked overnight in 1 cup of water
  • 1 cup coconut cream (Spiral is a great brand)
  • ½ tsp. of cinnamon
  • 1 tbls of honey

Mix well, and enjoy!

 

Note: depending on need for sweet or more chocolate alter the ingredients to get desired taste.
